Do I think like an engineer? Yes. Do I know what it's like in the client's shoes? Yes. Does it make a difference? You bet.

She's an organizer who fell in love with a mini-van and runs the show at M3.

After graduating from the General Motors Institute with a mechanical engineering degree, Joni started her career designing air conditioning systems and testing transmissions. Through a list of unique job progressions, she ultimately climbed the marketing ladder at GM and dedicated herself to the brand world, managing national advertising campaigns for the Oldsmobile Silhouette. Though the Silhouette came and went, Joni knows what it's like sitting across from an agency— an objective quality that's rare to find in an industry professional.

Hands down, Joni has the most consistently tidy desk at M3, (she'd never leave without stacking her papers and placing them at 90-degree angles). It's believed that her clean space aids in her maestroness: efficient execution of projects, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, generation of innovative ideas. Her desk is also the official spice station — she houses the only sources of salt and pepper at M3 (her favorite: Caribbean Seasoning).

An engineer through and through, Joni just thinks differently than everyone else. As the original ideator at M3 (coming on board in 2006), fresh thinking and brainstorming have always been at the heart of her work (and the giant white board in her office).

If Joni's not getting all hands on deck or searching for her reading glasses, you can expect to find her enjoying time with her family, dabbling in her new garden or bike riding with her dog, Rudy. As the resident office mom, it's been said she loves her M3 children almost as much as her biological children – and yes, she still loves the Silhouette, too.
