Emily Wenstrom
Resident Ink Slinger
As M3's Resident Ink Slinger, Emily spends her days on the second floor making papers bleed and laying down the laws of AP style. It's not as violent as it sounds, but it is sure is important.
This self-proclaimed grammar snob keeps our clients' outgoing PR work polished and staff members' writing in line. A 2007 graduate of Calvin College, Emily earned double majors in English and mass media. She wrote and edited for city publications including Grand Rapids Magazine, Capital Gains and the Lansing State Journal before joining the M3 team.
With a keen eye for trends and close watch on local media, Emily knows the importance of a good social media campaign and aids clients in understanding its value, (we know it may be difficult for some to see … trust us, it's there). Her vested interest in new media quickly earned Emily a reputation as the office's go-to gal.
Whatever you do, chicken dance or not, Emily is one to watch. With her cool demeanor and tendency to listen in on office conversations when you think she couldn't possibly be paying attention, you never know when she might chime in with a useful caveat of information. You also might want to watch her around microwaves; they haven't always proven to be her best friend in the kitchen.
(*Note: Don't even bring up the chicken dance, it's a very sore subject. Do it and risk exposing yourself to a torrential rant. We're not going to protect you from it either. You've been warned; ignore us and you get what you get.)
