2nd Annual Festival of Trees Bringing a Forest of Holiday Cheer to the Lansing Center
Area Businesses Decorating More Than 150 Trees to Support Local Charities

Lansing ----- Businesses, organizations and non-profits are banding together to decorate an entire holiday forest for the 2nd Annual Tri-County Festival of Trees, Dec.3-5 at the Lansing Center. Decorated trees will be raffled off at the end of this family-friendly weekend, with proceeds supporting the decorators' charity or scholarship of choice.
The Festival of Trees is a weekend celebration filled with activities for the whole family. The event features full sized and table top trees, a giant gingerbread house, children's activities, live entertainment and much more. The holiday crafters lane is open every day, showcasing the work of more than 30 area vendors and crafters. Attendees can pick up gifts for family and friends, and even bid on unique trees for their home.
Each day of the festival has something for everyone:
Friday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. is Senior Day
- Adults and seniors can enjoy musical performances throughout the day.
- Karyn's Dance Studio will be hosting dance performances at 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. is Kids Day
- Cinderella will make an appearance in her pumpkin carriage, along with many of her fairytale friends.
- Santa will visit the festival from 12-3 p.m. to check his list once or twice.
- Mrs. Clause will host story time at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
- Their friend Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer will be in a puppet show at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
- Sierra Rose Farms Healing Hearts with Horses and Impression 5 Science Spectacular will be entertaining and educating kids and adults all day.
Sunday, Dec. 5 is Tree Raffle Sunday
- The raffle begins at 4 p.m.
- Proceeds go to the decorators' charity of choice.
The festival opens Friday and Saturday, Dec. 3 and 4 at 10 a.m., running until 8 p.m. both days. Sunday's hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adult tickets are two for $20, and can be purchased at the door. Tickets can be used for re-entry all three festival days, with children under 14 free when accompanied by an adult.
