Dowling’s Experience and Enthusiasm
Keep Business Growing
Tiffany Dowling’s passion for her work and her clients has led to the continual growth of Motion Marketing & Media (M3) since she founded the firm in 2002. She lives her business motto—moving your business forward—every day.
When she meets with a client she brings to the table a strong background in journalism, communications and public relations. She has worked as a reporter and in communications offices, and she was appointed by Governor John Engler to be the Director of the Marketing and Public Relations Division of the Michigan Department of Career Development. When she left state government, she formed her own company with a business partner. In 2005, Dowling assumed full ownership and leadership of the company.
M3 was established with a vision for providing marketing, public relations and advertising services to all types of companies in the Greater Lansing area. Its client base has grown and now extends beyond the Lansing area. “I’m pleased that word of M3’s commitment to achieving excellent results for each of our clients has spread beyond the Lansing area,” Dowling said.
Moving Businesses Forward
Motion Marketing & Media is a full-service firm. “We have many services to offer clients and we customize a plan to help each client grow their business,” Dowling said.
M3 offers marketing services such as creating a new image for a client beginning with a marketing plan, logo package, collateral pieces, direct mail, trade show booths, display materials, and Website development. M3 also will plan, negotiate and purchase media advertising from newspapers, radio, television, cable, and magazines, as well as outdoor advertising, on a client’s behalf.
From a public relations perspective, M3 is able to assist clients by writing press releases and magazine articles; writing and designing newsletters and media kits; contacting media representatives; arranging press conferences; planning events; and providing issues management.
The Road Ahead
Dowling recently purchased a building near downtown Lansing and moved her business there. “This move will help M3 accommodate our growing staff and better serve our increasing number of clients,” Dowling said. Her entrepreneurial venture brings a lot of satisfaction to Dowling and she approaches each day with a lot of enthusiasm. “I’m always thinking about what I can do to help my clients and I’m frequently working on projects for them late into the night. I love this business and I’m willing to give it everything I have to keep it growing.” |
